Why I’m making Pebblehug.
I’m a dad to a three-year-old. At the heart of Pebblehug is a simple wish: for children to find themselves and the people they love inside a story. I want family members to belong in the adventure—as people who listen, help and join in.
I care about the small things: a shared glance, a helping hand, an idea that makes everyone smile. These are the kinds of moments I want these books to make room for. We’re beginning with stories for a child and Mom or Dad. Your photos inspire the characters; your time together gives the story its own meaning.

We wanted to make room for the things a child notices: a flower, a leaf boat, a cloud that could be anything. The child chooses what belongs on the map; Dad listens, lends a hand and joins the imagining. Neither has to have all the answers.
Our hope is simple: a few minutes of looking and wondering together. Perhaps your child recognizes the two of you, points out something you missed, or asks for the same page again. Perhaps your next walk brings another “Dad, look!” There is no lesson to finish and no perfect response to give—just room to see what catches their eye.

What do I need to personalize it?
Bring one clear child photo and dad photo, plus a few details such as names. Your photos guide both characters’ appearance throughout this story.
Can I see our story before paying?
Yes. After uploading your photos, you see a personalized cover featuring your child and Dad. One free regeneration is included. Decide whether to continue before paying $15.90 for the full digital picture book.
What will I receive, and when?
After payment and human quality review, you receive a private link for online reading and one Story PDF to download. No physical book ships. If a repair is needed, your order stays in progress until it is ready.
